LOVE AND LAUGHTER

I feel that a blog about wellness would be remiss if I didn’t focus a bit on laughter. Laughter was, is, and always will be a huge component of the Pronger household and Chris and my relationship.

In fact, it’s what brought me and my husband together in the first place! Like many first encounters, Chris and mine wasn’t an instant connection. He was incredibly shy when we first met and I wasn’t necessarily looking for love or a new relationship with a giant, gorgeous, budding hockey star. We met, we parted, and that was that… or so I thought! Chris contacted me to tell me about a party he was hosting (which I later found out was a ploy to get another chance to hang out with me and show me who he really was.) I came to his party, laughed harder than I had in years, and I’ve been belly laughing with my husband for over twenty years now.

Accepting this invitation has changed the course of my life and to this day Chris’s unique perspective, laughter, and lighthearted outlook keep our household together. During our darkest times we’ve found joy through laughter and I love that we’re able to connect this way. Here are a few of my favorite quotes about laughter and the undeniably positive effect it has on our lives!
