Mii amo

motel in side of red mountain with pool

At Mii amo, named the number-one destination spa in the U.S. by Travel + Leisure, you are asked to “Set an intention. Choose your Journey. Allow us to do the rest”, and do the rest they will! Mii amo, which translates to, “one's path or journey,” is rooted in the Native American culture of the Southwest. Here you will discover native traditions woven through signature spa treatments and guest experiences. Surrounded by the striking red rocks of Sedona’s Boynton Canyon, you choose a three-, four-, or seven-night all-inclusive stay. Your program is designed to serve your unique needs, intentions and desired outcomes, and you are fully supported the entire time. Your personal journey package includes private accommodations in one of 16 casitas, daily spa treatments and delicious, healthy cuisine. From fitness and nutrition counseling, to rejuvenating spa treatments and Native American-inspired therapies, Mii amo offers an opportunity to grow and learn. We love the arrival celebration at the start of your journey where you are gifted with juniper beads, a Navajo symbol to honor those that have gone before us. In addition to an incredible and thoughtful spa treatment menu, Mii amo offers many unique therapies like Vibrational Massage that uses oils blended with the frequency of the seven energy centers (chakras) to open and renew these energy points. A unique Native American inspired treatment is the Soul Seeker, where a master therapist guides and supports, as you reconnect with your inner self. This may include guided imagery, energy soul journeying, emotional release and breathwork. This is a very special place, and as a guest, you will feel the intimacy and energy with staff members who are dedicated to making your destination spa experience as memorable as it can be, offering a unique combination of professional expertise and nurturing warmth.

Enchantment Resort

firepit with seating and mountains in background

Alongside Mii amo is Enchantment Resort. Here you are asked to embrace the canyon spirit while enjoying over 100 weekly activities and seemingly endless biking and hiking excursions along Sedona’s iconic landscapes. The 218 recently refreshed casita guestrooms and suites, all feature a private deck or patio overlooking the grandeur of Boynton Canyon for a connection to the land that provides a feeling of peace and serenity. Guests have access to Mii amo Spa as well. We recommend you start your day in Mii amo’s Crystal Grotto to set your intention for the day before returning to Enchantment for a full day of activities like tennis, culinary classes, painting, guided meditation, stargazing and more. Plus, you have access to golf at the Tom Weiskopf-designed Seven Canyons Golf Club. Near and dear to our hearts, Enchantment is fully committed to honoring and preserving this land and its Native American heritage. While they do this in many ways each day, there are two major components of that mission: One is their greening program, the other is their partnership with both the National Forest Service and with the local Native American tribes.

L’Auberge de Sedona

outdoor restaurant with trees

Providing a dreamlike setting in Sedona on the banks of Oak Creek, is L’Auberge de Sedona. This magical creek side location boasts spectacular red rock views while just steps away from Sedona's Main Street arts and shopping district. Here you have the best of both worlds. Spread over 11 acres, the retreat offers 88 thoughtfully appointed guestrooms and cottages all with lovely views and amenities. Sedona is considered a vortex hub centered around specific sites where the vortex energy is believed to be most intense: Airport Mesa (cleansing, letting go), Cathedral Rock (allowing, receiving), Bell Rock (loving acceptance), and Boynton Canyon (centering, grounding). The spa has crafted four rituals and the one-of-a-kind experiences that take place in the hillside Vortex Treehouse with stunning views of the magical Sedona red rocks and mystical power. The Feet in the Creek treatment is a more playful way to experience the connection with earth, nature and yourself. This creek side spa experience, offered seasonally, begins with a massage therapist escorting you to Oak Creek. As you are guided to step into the ankle-deep water, breathing in the fresh Sedona air, listening to the soothing sounds of Oak Creek, and connecting with the natural beauty around you. Your treatment concludes with the therapist rinsing your feet and performing a reflexology treatment with their signature L’Apothecary flower essence serum.
